David has 21 years’ experience in finance and economics, 16 of which are in investment markets and for his sectors of responsibility, was rated one of the top three investment analysts in Australia. Prior to merging with The Pentad Group, David had built The Investment Collective to a point where the business looked after about $130 million in investments for several hundred clients. He holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Diploma in Corporate Management, and has also completed a range of other courses relating to the valuation of companies and investments. David is a past Director of Rockhampton Regional Development Limited, The Rockhampton Chamber of Commerce and Treasurer of the Home Support Association and various not for profit entities.

Sue holds an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and has undertaken further study to specialise in financial and technical analysis and superannuation. Having worked in small business for over 25 years Sue’s business acumen combined with financial planning skills, make her a valuable asset to the advising team. Sue has worked and lived in a rural environment for most of her life.

Lachlan has completed a diploma that meets the requirements of Regulatory Guidline (RG) 146 as set our by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) RG146 is a document outlined under the Financial Services Reform Act 2001 (FSRA) governed and administered by the Australian Securities Investments Commission (ASIC). Lachlan has also completed a Bachelor of Arts, Business Units - Money and capital markets, trade finance and foreign exchange, globalisation and economic systems with economic and finance core subjects. Lachlan has had experience in Trading in Futures, CFD's, FOREX, International shares, Australian shares and margin lending and has a background in technical analysis.

Chris was the founder of Quintain Advisory Services, a predecessor organisation to Pentad and The Investment Collective, and has in excess of 16 years experience providing personal financial planning and investment advice. Through his role on the Integration Committee Chris is actively involved in ensuring that the integration of CIPL and Pentad achieves benefits for clients.

Lance has in excess of 20 years in both stockbroking and financial planning and was a founder of Bailey Livermore Financial Services, a predecessor organisation of Pentad and The Investment Collective. Lance is also on the Integration Committee with a special focus on managing client risk.

Josh joined the Pentad Group in mid-2011 whilst he finished off his studies at Deakin University in Melbourne. Following his completion of a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics, Finance and Financial Planning, in 2012, Josh joined the Pentad Group’s Client Services Team. Since this time, he has progressed through several roles within the organisation including, Client Services Team Manager and Paraplanning. In November 2014, Josh was appointed a financial adviser.

Robert gained practical experience in the industry through many years working in investment management and merchant banks and fund managers. His technical background, which includes tertiary qualifications in economics, has ensured a smooth transition into a personal financial planning role, which commenced during 1999.

Mark is an experienced financial adviser who prior to joining Pentad worked within the Banking and Finance Sector. Mark is tertiary qualified (in finance and accounting) and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia. While Mark advises across a range of financial planning areas, he has a particular interest in strategies for estate planning, superannuation (including Self-Managed Superannuation Funds) and wealth accumulation.

Scott has been in financial services since July 1992. He commenced in an industry superannuation fund, and then worked with corporate and master trust providers, managing employer insurance plans. In 2002, Scott began advising individual and small business clients on superannuation and risk protection strategies. Scott has worked in accountancy aligned advisory groups, and Commonwealth Financial Planning in the Business and Premium Banking division, as a Business Financial Planner for 5 years. Scott specialises in personal/business risk advice, and superannuation. He has completed the Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning.
